Excursions and Camps

Excursions are a part of the educational experience at Rouse Hill Anglican College, complementing the teaching programs and course outcomes. These opportunities are provided in each year group. As well as excursions, overnight camps commence from Year 4.

Excursions

RHAC students have multiple opportunities in both Junior and Senior School to be a part of excursions from the College to locations that help them to practically understand what they are learning in the classroom.

Camps

Students have an opportunity every year from Year 4 to Year 10 to be a part of an overnight camp.

School camps have multiple benefits for students including:

Disconnect from technology and engage in meaningful personal interactions.

  • Develop social skills, independence and resilience.
  • Develop a greater understanding of, and respect for, other students they would not normally interact with.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of the natural environment.
